The Profilter Ready-To-Use Air Filter (AFR-2401-00) is a pre-oiled, single-use disposable dual-stage foam air filter manufactured by Maxima Racing Oils/Profilter. It is engineered as a direct drop-in replacement filter for a massive range of older-generation Yamaha and Suzuki motocross and off-road motorcycles. [1, 2, 3]
- Ready to Race: Comes pre-oiled with Maxima FFT (Foam Filter Treatment) oil straight out of the package. It arrives packed in a resealable bag alongside a pair of disposable installation gloves.
- Foam Architecture: Features a 16mm thick bonded dual-stage matrix consisting of a 6mm coarse open-cell outer foam to stop larger debris and a dense 10mm inner foam layer to arrest micro-dust and silt.
- Sealing Ring: Molded with a plush 13mm thick flat sealing foam face combined with a low-profile rubber center grommet to enforce an airtight track mount without needing grease.
- Maintenance Note: This is the single-use "Ready-To-Use" version and is not meant to be washed and re-oiled. (For the washable, dry version of this exact filter shape, look for part number MTX-2401-00).
